I know this is no longer news. But, am trying to understand why RBI releases new currency notes or coins ‘slowly’. When it’s official that a new coin is introduced, am not sure if I’m slow or that is how the process is, everyone has already seen one!
Well, I saw this last month and wanted to share if anyone is slower than I am. And by the way, RBI is issuing thousand rupees worth 10 rupees coins for anyone interested tomorrow.
Have you ever been to RBI to get change? I’ve been there, but not to get change, but to exchange a mutilated currency note. 
And the picture is not a ‘two sides of the same coin’ type, it’s actually two sides of two coins.
