I guess everyone has come across this ‘notice’ some time or the other. If you come across it all the time and think about it everytime you see one, I guess you are not alone. Come, join the club!
“Vehicles parked at owners risk”.
I know ‘owner’ here = vehicle owner obviously and not the parking/ establishment owner. That is understood because if vehicle is lost, it’s a loss for the vehicle owner only. However, I always think there is something different about the way the notice is put up. Mostly, this appears in high class lots where they charge you more than normal (hotels, shopping malls etc), which could imply that they will take care of it for you, but don’t!
And another one which always makes me think is:
“Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear”.
